The Menu at Fortress Lake

The quality and quantity of the food, and the remarkable ambience ensures that meals rank among our strongest features. We serve without the pretense of 5 star restaurants but deliver meals that rival their quality and enjoyment. Our menu includes gourmet flair and flavor with traditional roots.

Breakfast includes omelets, homemade pancakes with a variety of berries, real maple syrup; an egg dish - like frittatas or quiche; fresh muffins still hot from the oven; yogurt; fresh fruit; and homemade jam. Bacon, ham, or sausages are generally served with each breakfast.

Lunch can either be an in or out experience, depending on the weather and your desire. Hot lunches see bbq hamburgers and others served with cold beer for those looking for that perfect lunch at the retreat. On poor weather days, we will prepare hot meals of soup, chili, or stews with fresh rolls, beer breads, or biscuits. For those wishing to fish all day, we offer packed lunches of the above.

Dinners are our favorite time as we work our bbq and prepare salads and vegetables to match the meal. Beef tenderloin, cajun pork tenderloin, chicken in home made pesto pastry, ribs, and other menus of similar quality are served. Enjoy your favorite items while relaxing with a beverage of your choice. We serve a complimentary glass of wine with supper.
